5 tips to Organize your home QUICK!



 Spring is here! I would rather be outside enjoying the weather than staying inside cleaning. It needs done so here are some tips to get it done quick so you can get outside and enjoy your days!!!
* why is a clean home important, it is a fact that we feel better and are more energized when thing are neat and tidy!

These are my quick tips because I like to get things done fast, I have much better thing to do than clean all day, especially when we are busy working most the week who wants to spend there time off cleaning , UGH!



1.MY RULE OF THUMB ON THROWING THINGS OUT!!
This will kick it off, and this is how I reduce most all my clutter very quickly!
Grab some paper bags and set them up in the middle of the room, you are going to grab and throw in anything that has not been used for the last 3 months, I mean anything from trash to home decor.
-Recycle old papers, magazines and mail
-Donate all things you dont need to charity or your local thrift store
-Keep stuff you kinda like but aren't sure, you can re-purpose things into something and it will be like giving new life to it and your room!

So Quick Recap:
-Throw away if you haven't used it in 3 months, recycle ,donate and re-purpose!



2. MAKE A GAME OF CLEANING WITH KIDDOS!
I love this idea, if you make a game out of cleaning with the kids the enjoy it and get an eager little helper anytime you need help.
-give them one task that they can complete and feel good about
ex. like pick up all trash, or pic up all paper kiddo's even love dusting!
When you reward them you are also teaching them that cleaning can be fun and you get an eager little helper anytime you need help

-This speeds up cleaning time!


3. CLEAN IN SECTIONS
This helps me a lot, when looking over a room it can be very overwhelming but start somewhere and focus only the one are till you are done like a table top get it completely done before you even think about anything else. This speeds up the time because the task doesnt seem so daunting...its all about tricking your mind:))


4. CLEAN 5 MINUTES IN THE MORNING AND 5 MINUTES AT NIGHT
This is very helpful and over a few days time you will notice a more organized home that stays that way.... Tell everyone in the house that 5 mins in the morning and 5 mins in the evening they are to pick a spot in the house and clean it. This gets everyone to help, you have more man power and this gets everyone in a routine of picking things and keeping them that way!



5. SAVE OLD CONTAINERS AND BOXES FOR ORGANIZING!
Dont throw away that old oat meal container it can be used to store and organize, Keep them back and on a rainy spring day take out your glue gun and some fabric and spruce up the containers they will look like designer organization, get the kids involved let them design there own and then organize there own rooms. This is a fun craft to keep everyone organized

Bonus tip!!!cleaning supply cut-down!!

When you are cleaning your home carrying a million supplies for each room and each for a different purpose...we have some money saving, all-natural kick-but all-purpose cleaner recipes for you to try!!!

-DIY All purpose cleaner
1 part vinegar
1 part water
1/2 lemon squeezed

-Anti-Bacterial cleaner
1 part water
8 drops tea tree oil
1 part water
*tea tree oil- is an essential oil that fights fungus , and bacteria!
