  1. My favorite upcycled item is an art book that my friend Debs made for me. She took an old thick children's book and cut out parts of it and added new parts to it. It has a cosmos theme and I love it.

  5. Thanks everyone ! There is something more special about an handmade up cycled item than something you can buy at the store, it just seems to mean more! I am currently have a cabinet door that I found that is old, and I have painted and sanded it so it is very distressed, then I have painted a peacock feather on it, I love it! I will post some pics on my blog of it, and I havnt decided if I should sell because I love it so much!!

  14. I love the fact that the journal is upcycled and made by women. I love the wording on the front and the stiching is great. Teenagers are always looking for something that no one eles has and this would be perfect for a teenage girl. To inspire her to be more creative and expressive.
